Nicola performs as vocalist and cellist with backing. These concerts give a classy mix of a very diverse range of genres which span from classical to pop, jazz to latin and everything in between! Her reportoire includes Bach, Bowie, Carpenters, Sergio Mendez, Peggy Lee, Bonnie Raitt, Saint-Saëns, Elgar, Beatles and many more..

With her usual charm and sense of fun she manages to seamlessly weave each musical style into a warm, moving and intimate performance
Her repertoire reflects her love of classical music, jazz and classic pop - an eclectic mix but she's found that anything goes when it comes to the cello!
Nicola started playing cello at seven and by the age of eleven had achieved Grade 8 Distinction. During her teens she played in both County and National Youth Orchestras and twice won her local Musical Eisteddfods. She also plays a variety of instruments - both classical and jazz - including piano, double bass and bass guitar.
In recent years she has done numerous session work for a variety of classical, folk, jazz and pop bands, performed solo and played in various orchestras and string quartets and trios
